How Will Your Personality Impact the Cohesiveness of the Group?

Creative problem solving, the ability to work well with others, having a desire to grow, and communicating clearly are all qualities that require varying degrees of humility .  The ability to work collectively and with a diverse group of individuals, in particular, is a challenging task that often demands extraordinary patience.  It is often difficult to submit to outside ideas when we feel we are in the right.  And it is equally as challenging to take initiative in a group full of otherwise highly qualified and intelligent people.
Nonetheless, collaboration and effective communication are sometimes seen as the deciding factor when distinguishing success and failure in the business world.  By viewing our ability to cooperate and work well with others, through the lens of a perspective employer, it allows us to become better listeners, develop empathy for new ideas, and understand when it is appropriate to take a stand, and when to submit to the ideas of others in furtherance of a common objective.
